I have been using mesh drawstring bags for produce. I found them at the dollar store, four or five for a dollar. The package indicated that you were supposed to use them to clean out your car???? Anyway, they are perfect for produce, the cashier can see what's in the bag and they don't get too wet, I can even store them in the fridge. I really hate those plastic produce bags, especially when they're wet, ugh.
