I belong to a lace knitting group (Seasons of Lace) which has a lot of prizes (donated by sponsors for the advertising) and this last season of the group I actually won three prizes! I couldn't believe it. Anyway, they are so nice and beautiful that I had to share. Stitch Markers from Sheepy Time Knits:
(That's also my picture of the day from yesterday.)
Hand made knitting needles from DyakCraft:
And my most favorite of all the prizes, this amazingly gorgeous shawl pin from Scott's Mountain. Now when I hear "shawl pin" I do kinda think of a granny, which while I love grannies I am so not ready to be confused with one just yet! But this pin is different--it is so elegant. Man, I'm just in love with it. It really works too. It manages to be both strong and light, not slipping and not hurting the knitting at all. Doesn't it look nice on my new shawl that I finished (pattern is Citron, from the latest Knitty). I complained endlessly while I was knitting this shawl, it was just so boring, and the yarn (Malabrigo Lace) is so sticky and felty, and blah blah blah. It was all worth it. I may never take it off.
